Job summary

Sun Life in Hong Kong is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst (Process) to collect and validate business requirements across life insurance operations, collaborate with IT and stakeholders, and support user acceptance testing and post-implementation follow-ups. The role emphasizes improvements in processes, automation, and customer experience through cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Life Insurance industry with understanding on life insurance products and operation
• Self-driven with proven track record to deliver initiatives
• Understanding of IT systems for process streamlining and service improvements
• Good knowledge in business analysis (prepare user requirement document, perform user acceptance test, reporting etc.)
• Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Proficient in both spoken & written English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate user and business requirements in collaboration with end user, stakeholders and IT team
• Prepare test plan and perform UAT for system development
• Follow up on potential production issues, regression testing and error fixing
• Support post implementation check and follow-ups after new Par guideline launched
• Track and follow up on defects identified during UAT with IT team ensure all functions are meet the requirements
• Provide ad-hoc support to team head/leaders
• Assist project managers to deliver on our Client for Life strategy includes support strategic and digital initiatives, process re-engineering and automation to streamline work process and improve customer experience
• Collaborate with team members across different functional teams frequently to ensure clear communication is delivered to all stakeholders of the initiatives.
