Job summary

Endeavour Search Ltd. is recruiting a Senior DevOps Engineer for a banking & financial client in Hong Kong. You will manage Azure DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years of Azure DevOps administration, strong CI/CD understanding, and Microsoft Azure certifications. Collaboration with development teams and adherence to security policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3-5 years administering Azure DevOps environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Good understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and familiarity with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Programming knowledge in C#, .NET, and SQL advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure DevOps Services and on-premises Azure DevOps Server.
• Advise on and set up workflows for code review and scanning.
• Analyze existing setups to enhance approval flows and meet regulatory requirements.
• Create, configure, and manage build and release pipelines for UAT/Staging/Production environments.
• Integration: Set up integration between ServiceNow and Azure DevOps Boards.
• Document setups and create related procedures and guides.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security groups in Azure DevOps.
• Monitor system performance and implement updates and patches.
• Ensure IT compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.
• Resolve Azure DevOps-related issues.
• Provide training and support to development teams on Azure DevOps best practices.
• Keep comprehensive records of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
