Job summary

Bank of Singapore Hong Kong is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Vice President to join the Monitoring and Assurance team. The role focuses on surveillance of investment transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and HKMA/SFC regulations.

You will develop surveillance methodologies, produce insightful reports, and drive automation of surveillance workflows while supporting audits and investigations.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting transaction surveillance or business controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HKMA/SFC regulatory expectations in private banking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance reviews and continuous monitoring of investment transactions to identify risks or violations.
• Oversee development of advanced surveillance methodologies and sampling techniques.
• Prepare detailed surveillance reports with findings and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead initiatives to automate surveillance workflows leveraging technology.
• Support internal audits and regulatory examinations with data and analysis.
• Assist Complaint Handling investigations using surveillance techniques.
