Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented AVP to join our Monitoring and Assurance team in Hong Kong. You will lead surveillance reviews of investment transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, drawing on HKMA/SFC knowledge and private banking experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in private banking, investment monitoring, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of private banking products, investment transactions, and HKMA/SFC regulations in Hong Kong.
• Proven experience in transaction surveillance or controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough surveillance reviews and continuous monitoring of investment transactions to identify potential risks and regulatory breaches.
• Oversee development and management of advanced surveillance methodologies and sampling techniques.
• Prepare detailed surveillance reports communicating findings and recommendations to senior management.
