Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a proactive Operations professional to support the Treasury and Cash Management Operations section. You will help manage day-to-day activities, uphold service standards, and ensure robust controls and process efficiency.

You will supervise junior team members, identify operational risks, and contribute to improvement projects while collaborating with Product, Sales, Risk and Technology teams to back business initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Experience in corporate banking operations, especially transaction services, treasury, or cash management.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, clearing mechanisms, and liquidity management products.
• Ability to supervise daily operations and guide team members in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in banking systems and Office productivity applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the unit and section manager to manage the day-to-day activities of the Treasury and Cash Management Operations section.
• Ensure all transaction processing and operational tasks are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Maintain high-quality service standards and uphold sound operational controls in accordance with established procedures, bank policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise, guide, and support junior team members to ensure operational excellence and professional development.
• Identify operational risks, implement robust mitigation controls, and participate in regular risk self-assessments and audits.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, automation, and system enhancement projects to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Product, Sales, Risk, and Technology teams, to resolve complex operational issues and support business initiatives.
