Job summary

Havas Creative is seeking a highly creative Senior Art Director to lead visual conceptualization and execution for integrated campaigns across a diverse client portfolio. The role demands a strong portfolio, exceptional design skills, and the ability to inspire and guide a design team.

You will translate client briefs into impactful visuals, mentor designers, and collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to ensure cohesive messaging.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an Art Director in an agency setting.
• Strong portfolio with campaigns and visual concepts.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Lead the development of compelling and innovative visual concepts for a wide range of advertising and marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social, and experiential.
• Translate client briefs and marketing objectives into strong, impactful visual solutions that align with brand guidelines and creative strategies.
• Oversee and mentor a team of art directors and designers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality output.
• Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to ensure seamless integration of visual and verbal messaging.
• Present creative concepts and rationale to clients, effectively communicating the vision and securing buy-in.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and advertising.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as an Art Director, with a significant portion in an agency setting.
• A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing exceptional conceptual thinking, design execution, and a proven track record of successful campaigns.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D rendering is a plus.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating impactful and memorable visual experiences.
