Job summary

HOHCS in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Architect to lead major architectural projects from planning through handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee design reviews, manage procurement and tendering, and liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced corporate environment. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Member of HKIA or equivalent.
• 7 years of relevant experience, incl. 5 practicum and 2 post-qualification years.
• Strong understanding of regulations, local real estate market and land administration.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects from planning to completion.
• Oversee full project lifecycle: feasibility, design, procurement, construction, handover.
• Review designs, drawings and docs for quality and compliance.
• Manage tendering, appointments, contracts and procurement.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary external teams and provide technical advice.
• Liaise with govt departments for approvals and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, risks and resolve site conflicts to avoid delays.
• Supervise and develop team members to maintain efficiency.
