Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited seeks a Senior Application Developer in Digital Solutions to design and implement information systems, lead requirements gathering, and collaborate with business users and IT vendors. The role covers solution design, development, testing, and project budgeting in a dynamic railway and property services environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer with Dataverse, Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience with document/knowledge management platform: Power Platform, SharePoint Online on Office365.
• Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI experience.
• Web and mobile applications knowledge and SDLC experience.
• Experience with other Low Code Development Platforms; AI/Cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage.
• Strong governance, vendor management, analytical and technical skills.

• Work with a professional team to provide services for various information systems including system development and enhancement
• Take lead to work with business users, manage IT vendors and contractors to prioritise tasks, provide requirement study, solution design, system design, coding, testing and implementation
• Assist management to perform project planning, execution and budgeting

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience proven experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer with demonstrable experience with Dataverse, Power Automate and Power Apps (Model Driven and Canvas Apps).
• Experience and knowledge of managing the following activities / systems:
  • Document/knowledge management platform: Power Platform, SharePoint Online on Office365
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI
  • Web and mobile applications
  • Software requirement management and vendor delivery management
  • Software development cycle
  • Experience with other Low Code Development Platforms
  • Knowledge of new technologies such as AI, Cloud, etc. is an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, ability to communicate in Putonghua is an advantage
• Good application platform management, governance and technical skills
• Good vendor management, analytical and technical skills
