Job summary

Chinasoft International Technology Service (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Android Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure native Android apps for a leading hospitality and entertainment group in Central, Hong Kong. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve a modular Android architecture, ensuring resilience and scalability.

The role requires 3+ years of native Android experience, strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills, and hands-on REST API/MQTT

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of commercial native Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture (MVVM with Hilt/Dagger).
Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and MQTT messaging.
Solid Git workflows and GitLab CI/CD experience; Agile/Scrum mindset.
Experience in hospitality, IoT, or connected-device contexts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose in a modular architecture.
Integrate mobile apps with backend services and IoT devices via REST APIs and MQTT.
Maintain high-quality code through automated tests and peer reviews; contribute to architecture and planning.
Diagnose and resolve production issues across app and integration layers.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend and DevOps; contribute to CI/CD and performance/security improvements.
