Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI/ML Computational Scientist to design, build, and operationalize AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients in Hong Kong. You will develop scalable data pipelines, deploy models, and apply Gen AI to real business problems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on model development, research, and delivering production-grade AI capabilities with a strong client-facing orientation in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, AI, statistics or quantitative field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying models in production at scale
• Proficiency in Python and python-based AI/ML frameworks; familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience working with language models and optimizing their usage for specific applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong client-facing skills in a consulting environment

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into practical, efficient, and scalable AI/ML solutions
• Develop and implement ML algorithms, models, and scalable data pipelines with DevOps & MLOps
• Customize and apply Deep Learning and Gen AI models for various use cases based on data availability and infrastructure
• Engage in R&D of new AI/HPC algorithms and simulations for client solutions
• Work with large-scale datasets and perform data preprocessing for high-quality training and production inputs
• Implement and maintain data storage and retrieval for models and knowledge using appropriate tools
• Justify the value of model approaches in business problems
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to achieve end-to-end project goals and production integration
