Job summary

ED Design Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a senior accountant to handle the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, and month-end closing. You will prepare cheque payments, manage document filing, and liaise with clients on A/R and project updates.

The ideal candidate has a Higher Diploma or Degree and at least 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in interior design or construction.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree or above.
• Minimum 7 years accounting experience; interior design / construction experience preferable.
• Knowledge in Peachtree is preferable.
• Able to complete and finalize the accounting work under pressure and independently.
• Computer knowledge in MS Office such as Word, Excel etc.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and month-end closing, etc;
• Perform general accounting duties including data entries, document sorting, daily reconciliation, filing, and safekeeping of document files;
• Prepare cheque payments and related work;
• Follow up with client for A/R payment and project update from time to time
• Prepare and follow up the quotation, invoices and receipts, including debit notes to billing transactions
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects assigned.
• Handle project margin analysis report and salesmen’s commission
• year-end audit and other ad hoc projects as required
