Job summary

Mastermind Asia Limited in Central and Western District, HK is seeking a Senior Accountant for an in-house accounting and reporting role in a fintech company. You will handle full sets of accounts and month-end closing, and assist with annual financial statements and year-end audits.

Responsibilities include trade and position reconciliation for structured products, derivatives, equities, repos and reverse repos; you will contribute to new product initiatives and collaborate with other teams on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
3+ years’ experience in accounting in capital markets, investment banks or audit firms with exposures in financial industry.
Strong knowledge of structured products, derivatives, equities and fixed income.
Proficient in Excel and VBA; experience with accounting software (Yonyou preferred).
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Handle full sets of accounts and month-end closing. Review account breakdown and analysis.
Prepare annual financial statements and assist with year-end audits.
Perform trade and position reconciliation for structured products, derivatives, equities, repos and reverse repos.
Assist in development of new products/business initiatives.
Collaborate with other teams on various system implementations.
