Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Security Systems Engineer in Hong Kong with 3–5 years of experience in access control and integrated security solutions. You will design, implement, and maintain DACS/Access Control Systems, integrate biometric and CCTV components, and support IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization, and networks.

The role requires a strong cybersecurity understanding, IAM, API integration, and experience with ACS/DACS or smart card systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in access control, security systems, or integrated security solutions.
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers, databases, networking, and virtualization.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IAM, API integration, and enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with ACS/DACS, biometric, CCTV, or smart card systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Security+, Microsoft, VMware, CISSP/CISM, or security system certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain DACS/Access Control Systems.
• Integrate access control, biometric, CCTV, intercom, and other security systems.
• Commission, test, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support servers, databases, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
• Manage system integration with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, HR systems, and APIs.
• Support cybersecurity, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring.
• Support mobile credentials, web applications, and digital access solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, SOPs, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors during project implementation.
• Provide technical support, training, and after-sales support when required.
