Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Hong Kong invites a Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations across our hotel portfolio, delivering a safe and reassuring environment for guests and colleagues while ensuring compliance with established standards. You will manage the security team, coach staff, oversee access control, CCTV and alarm systems, respond to incidents, and report to Management.

The role requires a professional security qualification, at least 3 years in hospitality or security, a valid

Qualifications

• Certificate or above with professional qualifications in Security Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Hotel or Security Industry.
• Valid Security Personnel Permit.
• Ability to assess risks and perform independent security/operations reviews and audits.
• Sound knowledge of security access control system, alarm monitoring system and CCTV system.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team effectively to drive day-to-day security operations.
• Ensure security operations are strictly followed to established standards and policies.
• Provide practical guidance and coaching to maintain consistent Hotel and Departmental standards.
• Cultivate and maintain excellent guest relations to enhance their satisfaction.
• Handle guests’ inquiries promptly and effectively, as well as reporting any complaints related to security or safety to Management immediately.

About The Role

As a Security Supervisor, you will be leading the team in daily security operations, ensuring strict compliance with established standards while providing guidance and support to deliver a safe and reassuring environment for all guests and colleagues

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the team effectively to drive day-to-day security operations
• Ensure security operations are strictly followed to established standards and policies
• Provide practical guidance and coaching to maintain consistent Hotel and Departmental standards
• Cultivate and maintain excellent guest relations to enhance their satisfaction
• Handle guests’ inquiries promptly and effectively, as well as reporting any complaints related to security or safety to Management immediately

About You

• Certificate or above with professional qualifications in Security Management
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Hotel or Security Industry
• Valid Security Personnel Permit
• Ability to assess risks and perform independent security / operations reviews and audits
• Sound knowledge of security access control system, alarm monitoring system and CCTV system
• Self-initiated team player with good communication skills
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
