Job summary

Hopewell Hotel in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor/Manager to lead the hotel’s Security team and ensure daily safety compliance across all areas.

You will organize manpower, handle incidents, assist law enforcement, and collaborate with Guest Experience Managers to safeguard guests and staff while maintaining high service standards. The position offers medical and dental benefits, meal provisions, and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel security
• Valid Security Personnel Permit
• Qualified First Aider
• 5-day work week

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Security team; daily safety checks
• Ensure safety in key hotel areas; handle incidents
• Organize manpower to handle accidents
• Write and submit incident reports
• Assist police in hotel-related cases
• Handle safety-related complaints from guests
• Inspect logs of entry/exit for personnel, materials, vehicles and stores
• Ensure fire systems, access control, elevators and CCTV function properly
• Inspect firefighting equipment readiness
• Collaborate with Guest Experience Managers to assist guests (hospital/police)
• Work with Emergency Respond Team on hotel emergencies
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage the Security team and check the safety work on a daily basis
• Check the safety situation of the key areas of hotel; handle all kinds of illegal issues
• Organize manpower to handle all kinds of accident
• Write and submit the incident report
• Assist the Police in detecting all kinds of case happened in hotel
• Accept and handle complaints of all safety-related problems and issues from guests
• Inspect the log of entry and exit of personnel, materials, vehicles and stores at the commencement and the end of the duty
• Ensure all fire system, access control system, function of elevators and CCTV are working properly
• Inspect the service ability of firefighting equipment
• Work closely with Guest Experience Managers and offer assistance when needed such as accompany guests to hospital or police station, etc
• Work together closely with the Emergency Respond Team to handle hotel emergency cases such as injury, fire alarm, bomb threat etc
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the superiors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Security Department, preferably in the hotel industry
• With valid Security Personnel Permit
• Knowledge and skill of public security and firefighting, outstanding service consciousness and skill
• Qualified First Aider
