Job summary

Macroview Telecom Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead client-focused security operations and mentor the SOC team.

You will own client relationships, align security objectives with service delivery, and collaborate with Sales, Security Operations, and Technical Support to ensure incident response and service quality. This role demands strong communication and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of customer success or account management experience in tech or cybersecurity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with cybersecurity concepts and SOC operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients; build relationships and trust.
• Understand clients' security objectives and tailor solutions to meet needs.
• Conduct regular check-ins on service delivery and satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts for risks and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, security operations, tech support) for seamless delivery.
• Develop understanding of MSSP market, trends and offerings.
• Contribute to new service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
• Provide status updates on client satisfaction, service delivery and revenue growth.

Job description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders.
• Understand clients' security objectives and business drivers, and develop tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to review service delivery, performance metrics, and overall satisfaction.
• Monitor client accounts for potential issues and risks, and proactively address them before they become problems.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, security operations, technical support) to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the MSSP market, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
• Participate in the development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies to drive growth and retention.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to management on client satisfaction, service delivery, and revenue growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of customer success or account management experience in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to identify solutions to complex challenges.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with managed security service providers and their offerings.
• Experience with SIEM, XDR, and SOAR systems (e.g., Splunk, PA Cortex XDR, MS Sentinel) preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM are preferred.
