Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Go) for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, pytest) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of shipping high-quality software at scale.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, performance, and regression testing for large-scale distributed systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and identify risks early in the development cycle.
• Perform root-cause analysis on production incidents, track defects to resolution, and drive continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Monitor system health via observability tools, establish quality metrics, and own the release quality gate.
• Contribute to chaos engineering and resilience testing to validate fault-tolerance under extreme conditions.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for a quality-first culture across cross-functional teams.
