Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking invites you to join the Future Talents: Santander SCIB Summer Program Asia – Client Coverage. This immersive internship targets students entering their final year in 2028, across Asia (Beijing, Hong Kong or Singapore).

You will work on client presentations, market updates, and cross-team collaboration to deliver value to large corporates and financial institutions. Gain hands-on experience, interact with global teams, and develop financial modelling,

Qualifications

• University degree: Students expected to complete their studies in summer 2028 and enter their final year of university after the internship.
• English level: High proficiency in English; any additional language is a plus.
• Skills: Open and collaborative approach with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and exposure to financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of client presentations, briefing materials, market updates and internal analyses.
• Researching clients’ strategic priorities, financial needs and sector dynamics.
• Coordinating products and solutions across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking and Markets.
• Supporting bankers and product specialists on client opportunities and ongoing relationship-management activities.
• Gaining exposure to client meetings, transaction processes and the day-to-day work of a global coverage team.

This immersive summer program is designed for students who will enter their final year of university after the internship. It offers hands-on professional experience, exposure to global teams and the opportunity to develop the analytical, commercial and interpersonal skills needed to begin a career in finance.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

As part of the Santander SCIB Summer Program Asia – Client Coverage, you will support teams focused on building deep, long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with Large Corporates, Multinational Corporations, Financial Institutions and Financial Sponsors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the preparation of client presentations, briefing materials, market updates and internal analyses.
• Helping teams research on clients’ strategic priorities, financial needs and sector dynamics.
• Contributing to the coordination of products and solutions across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking and Markets.
• Supporting bankers and product specialists on client opportunities and ongoing relationship-management activities.
• Gaining exposure to client meetings, transaction processes and the day-to-day work of a global coverage team.
