Job summary

ALL-STAR AGENCY in Hong Kong seeks a Payment Sanctions & Operations Control Manager to support the Head of OSC in regulatory compliance, sanctions screening and control-related activities across the operations platform.

The role targets a seasoned banking operations professional with hands-on experience in sanctions screening, remediation oversight, and cross-functional coordination to ensure service continuity and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background with a university degree or relevant professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of OSC in reviewing operations’ compliance with key regulatory rules and ordinances, and drive related control enhancements.
• Oversee payment sanctions screening performed by operations teams, including sanctions list management and alert review supervision.
• Supervise administration tasks such as audit confirmation checking, certificates of balance, bank reference letters and law-enforcement enquiries.
• Manage department-wide administration activities, including tariff reviews, industry surveys, BCP coordination and trainings logistics.
• Provide processing and back-up support to other operations groups to ensure service continuity and adherence to controls.
• Act as project coordinator for operations-related initiatives from planning through implementation and product launch.
