Job summary

Ambition is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support enhancements across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including Apex, Flows, REST APIs, and GraphQL.

You will ensure changes follow enterprise architecture, deliver clean, scalable solutions, and collaborate with technical leads, analysts, and QA to maintain robust deployments. 3–5 years of hands-on experience and PD1/PD2 preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Batch, Queueable, Async).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flows (Record-triggered, Screen, Autolaunched).
• Strong integration experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Certifications preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) or Platform Developer II (PD2).
• Clear technical documentation skills and strong communication with technical leads, analysts, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enhancement initiatives across Apex services, Flows, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Ensure all code and configuration changes align with enterprise architecture patterns, coding standards, and Salesforce best practices.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable programmatic and declarative solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Conduct as-is logic analysis across legacy codebases, automation flows, and custom integrations to support business enhancements.
• Perform root-cause analysis, issue investigation, and complex troubleshooting for production incidents and defects.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize existing Apex triggers, batch jobs, and automation flows.
• Create clear and structured technical story tickets, detailed design specifications, and deployment notes.
• Prepare migration steps and deployment checklists for CI/CD and release cycles.

• Development Stack:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flows (Record-triggered, Screen, Autolaunched).
• Strong integration experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze existing complex logic, trace code execution, and troubleshoot issue reports efficiently.
• Certifications (Preferred): Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) or Platform Developer II (PD2).
• Communication: Clear technical documentation skills and strong communication skills to collaborate with technical leads, business analysts, and QA teams.
