Job summary

Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. is seeking a Sales Support professional to assist the Head of Products, Sales and Marketing and to build relationships with key clients, understanding their investment direction and offering solutions.

The role collaborates with portfolio management, product management and client services teams to prepare RFP responses and pitch books, supporting HK/China business expansion. Fluent Mandarin, English and Cantonese are required.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in business or finance related studies.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Mandarin; fluency in English and Cantonese required.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Products, Sales and Marketing.
• Assist sales managers to develop relationships with key clients and target client base; provide advice and solutions leveraging sales resources and products.
• Assist the sales team in implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to expand HK/China business long-term.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and work with sales managers.
• Assist in completing RFP responses and prepare pitch books with internal teams (portfolio management, product management, client services).
• Other sales-related tasks as assigned by the sales manager.

Job description

• Report to the Head of Products, Sales and Marketing
• Assist sales managers to develop relationships with key clients and our target client base in order to understand the clients' investment direction, providing advice and solutions to clients leveraging sales resources and products
• Assist the sales team on the implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans in order to expand our business in HK/China over the long term
• Identify potential cross selling opportunities and to work closely with the sales managers
• Assist to complete Request for Proposal in responses with the relevant teams and prepare presentation pitch books by working closely with the internal teams (e.g. portfolio management team, product management team, client services team, etc.)
• Other sales related tasks assigned by sales manager

Job Requirements

• Good knowledge and passion for the asset management business and capital markets. Postgraduate degree in business or finance related studies
• 2+ years of experience acting as sales support in Institutional/Channel Sales needed
• Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to drive tasks to completion in a highly organized manner
• Fast learner who is able handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding team player with strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, and collaborate well with others
• Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Mandarin. Fluency in English and Cantonese are also required
• Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
