Job summary

Wecon Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Safety Assistant to support the implementation and maintenance of health and safety measures in line with statutory and contractual requirements. You will assist with site safety inspections, incident investigations, safety trainings and meetings, and handle other health, safety and environmental duties as directed by your supervisor.

A Higher Diploma or above in OHS and at least one year of construction experience, with strong English and Chinese

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Occupational Health & Safety or related disciplines.
• 1 year or above relevant experience in construction field.
• Conversant with the use of common computer software.
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist to implement and maintain health and safety measures stipulated under the statutory requirements and also the contractual requirements.
• Assist in conducting site safety inspection and incident investigation.
• Assist in safety trainings, safety meetings and other safety related matters.
• Any other health, safety and environmental related duties directed by the superior.
