Job summary

Coins is seeking a Risk Analyst to design, implement, and optimize risk strategies for the platform, with a focus on merchant risk management and transaction monitoring. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to balance growth with robust risk controls.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in risk roles, strong analytics, and proficiency in SQL/Excel/Python, plus familiarity with KYB/KYC processes and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in risk management, fraud detection, merchant risk, or fintech risk roles.
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective cross-team and international communication.
• Familiarity with merchant risk assessment, payment fraud detection, or KYB/KYC processes is a strong plus.
• Skilled in SQL, Excel, and/or Python; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AI/LLM applications in fraud detection, risk management, transaction monitoring, or data analytics is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning, anomaly detection, or AI-assisted decision-making is preferred.

Responsibilities
