Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business, Law or Risk Management.
• 10 years’ experience in product, channel, risk management in financial sector.
• Experience in document review or process audit.
• Understanding of consumer banking product and channel management.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Professional qualifications in risk management or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to conduct thematic review of operational procedures to remediate AML/operational and compliance risk across channels and products.
• Suggest efficient measures on operational risk control as per risk framework.
• Keep abreast of latest trends on risk management with focus on regulators, internal audit and headquarter in China.
• Solicit feedback from key stakeholders and ensure executable remediation measures.
• Participate in cross-department projects, coordinate with SMEs, provide recommendations, monitor progress and report status to senior management.
• Translate findings into actionable insights with gap analyses on procedures and controls.
• Develop digital journey and process re-engineering opportunities; assess feasibility of optimization from customer perspective.
• Provide risk advice for new services/products; ensure controls meet regulatory requirements.
