Job summary

RD Technologies seeks an experienced Responsible Officer (RO) to lead and oversee its Hong Kong SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) activities.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Business Development, Product, Compliance and Technology to guide a stablecoin- and virtual asset-focused business within the SFC framework, navigating regulatory changes and supporting Web3 transformation of payments, trading and investment infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience as RO or similar regulatory role with SFC or equivalent
• Proven ability to draft and review regulatory communications and licensing submissions
• Strong understanding of financial crime controls and regulatory risk management

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory governance and ensure ongoing compliance with SFO, AML/CFT, and other requirements.
• Advise management on business strategy, product development, and regulatory structure.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Product, Compliance, and Tech to shape regulatory-compliant Web3-focused offerings.
• Conduct regulatory market intelligence and communicate developments to leadership.
