Job summary

ADECCO is seeking a Research Assistant in Hong Kong Island to support research initiatives in education and training. You will ensure data integrity, assist senior researchers, and contribute to exhibitions and library operations.

The role requires a HK university degree in Chinese Language & Literature or related subjects, strong Chinese/English skills, and experience with library reference services. On-site role with flexible work arrangements where feasible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a HK university or equivalent in Chinese Language & Literature or related subjects.
Level 2 or above in HKDSEE across five subjects including Chinese, English and Math or HKCEE equivalent.
Proficiency in Hong Kong literature and related reference services.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting research projects on Hong Kong literature.
Collect information from multiple sources and write up research results.
Support research and content development of exhibitions.
Organise library materials, manuscripts and newspaper clippings.
Liaise with local authors and organisations to collect rare books and manuscripts.
Assist in organizing exhibitions, book displays and talks.
Perform ad hoc tasks at the Library and other premises as required; travel during hours.
