BlackHills is seeking a motivated Research Analyst to join our Hong Kong office. The role focuses on tracking and analysing Hong Kong's commercial property market, preparing market reports, maintaining research databases, and supporting strategic business initiatives.

You will work closely with our brokerage and research teams to provide insights that support client advisory services and business growth, requiring strong data analysis, communication, and a passion for real estate market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CRE, market research, consulting, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse Hong Kong's commercial real estate market with focus on occupier and investment trends.
• Collect, maintain and analyse market data to support research activities.

Research Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our Hong Kong office. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about data analysis, market research, and the real estate industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and analysing Hong Kong's commercial property market, preparing market reports, maintaining research databases, and supporting strategic business initiatives. You will work closely with our brokerage team, clients, and the research team to provide valuable insights that support business growth and client advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on Hong Kong's commercial real estate market, providing insights into occupier and investment trends with a focus on the Financial Services and Professional Services sectors.
• Collect, maintain, and analyse market data to support research activities and ensure database accuracy and integrity.
• Build company specific and industry financial models. Monitor market trends and tenant activities.
• Transform market data and research insights into high-quality reports, presentations, and advisory materials that support client decision-making and business growth.
• Work closely with the brokerage team to gather market information and business intelligence.
• Assist in preparing marketing presentation materials, hosting marketing events, client functions, and industry activities as required.
• Ad hoc jobs assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, market research, consulting, finance or a related field.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese typing.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or other data visualization and analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Has full working rights for Hong Kong.
• Detail-minded, self-motivated, responsible, and capable of dealing with new situations and challenges.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.
