Job summary

SearchApi is a real-time SERP API delivering structured data from 100+ search engines and sources. We seek a technical writer who codes, benchmarks APIs, and publishes transparent, reproducible results. You’ll produce deep comparisons and maintain evergreen content trusted by engineers.

You’ll work autonomously, own benchmarks end to end, and contribute to open, verifiable content that helps users make informed decisions about APIs, no-code tools, and AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Must have a long-form technical piece with code or data behind a benchmark.
• Willingness to publish transparent results even if they’re unflattering.
• Proficient in researching, coding benchmarks, and verifying numbers.

Responsibilities

• Write best API comparisons backed by real benchmarks. You code the tests, run them, and publish the method alongside the result.
• Run estimations over time, re-measure, and update with evolving data.
• Maintain evergreen technical content and review tools/APIs hands-on.
