Job summary

Binance is seeking an Investigative Attorney on a 12-month contract to join our global Legal team in Hong Kong. You will handle high-impact investigations and support regulatory reporting in a fast-moving crypto environment.

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 5–8 years of investigations experience, preferably from a law firm, with strong analytical and written communication skills capable of producing clear case assessments.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 5–8 years of experience.
• Law firm background with hands-on investigations.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal review of Compliance investigation case files for risk and regulatory issues
• Analyze regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Help define and refine roles and responsibilities between Compliance and Legal counterparts in the investigation process
• Track case volume and turnaround against SLAs; support resource capacity planning
• Maintain strict confidentiality and privilege protections on all escalated matters
• Provide ad hoc legal analysis and support as directed by the Legal team
