Job summary

ECI is a leading global provider of managed services and cybersecurity, seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Advisor to join our Hong Kong team. You will work with financial services clients across APAC to bolster defenses, conduct security assessments, and drive risk-based initiatives.

The role is remote with a strong preference for candidates based in Hong Kong. You will collaborate with CISOs and IT leadership to stay ahead of evolving threats and regulatory changes such as MAS TRM and ISO 27001.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of APAC regulatory frameworks (MAS TRM, HKMA, APRA CPS 234, FSC, etc.).
Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and COBIT.
Proven experience conducting security assessments, audits, and risk analyses.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (4+ years in information security)

Responsibilities

Build trusted relationships with clients as a cybersecurity advisor.
Develop and implement cybersecurity risk management strategies tailored to APAC financial services clients.
Advise clients on compliance with MAS TRM, HKMA, APRA CPS 234, FSC and ISO 27001, NIST, CIS.
Conduct security assessments, audits, and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with CISOs and IT leadership to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
Stay current with evolving cyber threats and regulatory updates in APAC.
Support audits with documentation and remediation planning.
Travel within the APAC region up to 10% as required.
