Job summary

Kaya by Chemin Sdn Bhd seeks Cantonese‑English transcriptionists for a short-term remote project focused on healthcare conversations. Fluency in Cantonese and English is required, with familiarity in medical terminology to ensure accurate transcripts.

You will listen to audio clips, transcribe, segment speech, label speakers, and add basic annotations. Typical cadence is a few hours daily, with onboarding during GMT+8 office hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Cantonese; able to write in Traditional Chinese and fluent in English for communication.
• Healthcare background or familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Cantonese‑English audio clips and transcribe them accurately.
• Segment audio into natural speech units and label speakers when present.
• Add simple annotations (e.g., gender, age group, emotion) and perform QC tasks when required.
• Follow project guidelines to maintain high‑quality outputs and communicate with the Project Manager.
