Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a Blender-focused 3D artist for a remote, hourly contract role. You will design realistic Blender tasks, record demonstrations of workflows, and define objective verification criteria for AI training data benchmarks.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of production Blender experience, strong modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering skills, and the ability to document workflows clearly for asynchronous review.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional Blender-focused 3D artist experience
• Proficiency in Blender production work: modeling, topology, UVs, materials, lighting, rendering with Cycles/EEVEE
• Ability to document workflows and define objective verification criteria for tasks and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Author production-realistic Blender tasks with clear, testable outcomes
• Record expert demonstrations showing end-to-end workflows
• Document workflows in clear professional English for reproducibility
• Define verification and success criteria to enable consistent scoring
• Create tasks spanning single-tool to multi-step cross-application workflows
• Support QA by auditing submissions for realism and completeness
