Job summary

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Finance professional to support group accounting and reporting processes. The role covers general ledger reconciliation, month-end close, inter-company reconciliations, and regulatory reporting with HKMA inputs.

You will analyse variances, prepare schedules for group reporting, and contribute to process improvements and Gen-AI initiatives to strengthen internal controls. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in financial services are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 2+ years of work experience in financial services.
• Foundational knowledge of banking products and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong interest in process improvement and Gen-AI tools.
• Growth mindset with teamwork and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger to source reconciliation and core financial accounting duties.
• Execute month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Assist in inter-company reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies.
• Analyze variances during month-end closing and document explanations.
• Prepare schedules and reporting packages for group reporting.
• Support process improvements and Gen-AI initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
• Prepare HKMA regulatory returns and inputs for other filings as required.
• Participate in Finance projects to drive workflow improvements.
