Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Survey Monitoring Engineer to carry out survey monitoring within and outside railway structures to prevent displacement and damage, ensuring safe and reliable railway operation.

The role involves supporting the monitoring programme and reports, with a diploma in engineering surveying, 6+ years’ experience (1 year supervisory). Driving licence preferred; willingness to work shifts and in adverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in both English and Chinese.
• Knowledge of survey monitoring in tunnel environment, laser scanning, real-time monitoring and geotechnical instrumentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out survey monitoring within and outside railway structures to avoid excessive displacement or direct damage to the railway structures under railway protection areas to ensure safe and reliable railway operation.
• Assist in preparing survey monitoring programme / report and developing monitoring proposals.
