Job summary

Chun Wo Construction Holdings Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor Manager to lead the commercial team on large-scale civil projects. You will supervise the QS team, oversee contract administration and risk management, and drive cost control, subcontracting, VO/Claims, and value optimization.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying, 10+ years' experience with main contractors, familiarity with NEC Option C contracts, and fluent English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, 5+ years with main contractors in leading commercial role for large-scale civil projects.
• Experience with NEC Option C contracts is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of QS practice and contract administration.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Job description

Requirements

• Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, preferably with MHKIS / MRICS professional qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience of which 5 years with main contractors in leading commercial role for large scale civil projects;
• Experience in NEC Option C contracts is advantageous ;
• Effective management of risks and opportunities ;
• Excellent knowledge on QS practice and contract administration;
• Good interpersonal and problem solving skills ;
• Strong commercial sense, independent working, dynamic thinking;
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese .

** Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant QS Manager.
