Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED is seeking a Python / AI Platform Engineer to join the backend team. The role blends data engineering, backend systems, and AI application development to power trading, research, and operations.

You will design intelligent agents, orchestrate complex AI workflows, and own the LLM stack while building robust data pipelines and reporting tools. A hybrid work setup in Hong Kong is expected, with focus on scalable, production-grade systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python backend development and production-grade code.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications and LLM tooling.
• Strong data engineering and pipeline experience for trading or research workflows.
• Solid SQL design and data modeling for large-scale systems.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intelligent agents and multi-step automation powered by LLMs.
• Develop orchestration frameworks for tool and function calling with complex workflows.
• Deploy retrieval-augmented generation pipelines for internal research and Q&A needs.
• Own the LLM stack from prompts to embeddings, vector stores, and model API integrations.
• Create reliable data pipelines, monitoring dashboards, and analytics for operational insight.
• Troubleshoot production data issues and performance bottlenecks across platforms.
• Design and maintain Python backend services powering trading and risk monitoring.
