King Deux Search & Consulting is expanding a dedicated Geopolitical & Macro Event-Driven Trading Desk. You will design the desk framework, deploy capital behind your views, and run your own book with high autonomy.

This ground-floor opportunity focuses on high-conviction, independent PnL generation across binary and event-driven markets, with flexible/global hours to align with major geopolitical events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years trading prediction markets, event-driven prop books, or political betting/macro sportsbooks with independent PnL.
• Strong odds pricing and risk management in binary outcome markets.
• Comfort making high-conviction decisions in fast-moving, global events.

Responsibilities

• Actively trade macro, political, and geopolitical events across multiple platforms.
• Develop and execute independent trading strategies to drive desk PnL.
• Identify cross-platform pricing inefficiencies and price binary/multi-outcome contracts.
• Rigorously manage risk, position sizing, and capital allocation.
• Monitor real-time newsflow and market sentiment to react to catalysts.

About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with global proprietary trading firm in expansion of strategy.
Launching a dedicated Geopolitical & Macro Event-Driven Trading Desk. We focus on high-conviction opportunities driven by binary outcomes—e.g., elections, policy changes, conflicts, central bank moves, and sanctions—traded across prediction exchanges, event contract platforms, and betting markets.

Our edge lies in exploiting fragmented information environments and mispriced tail risks. This is a ground-floor opportunity with high autonomy: you will build the desk framework, deploy capital directly behind your views, and run your own book.

About your role

• Directional & Event Trading: Actively trade macro, political, and geopolitical events across platforms like Polymarket, Kalshi, and related prediction venues.

• Alpha Generation: Develop and execute independent, proprietary trading strategies to drive desk PnL.

• Arbitrage & Pricing: Identify cross-platform pricing inefficiencies and price complex binary and multi-outcome probability contracts.

• Risk & Capital Management: Rigorously manage book exposure, position sizing, and capital allocation in fast-moving markets.

• Real-Time Execution: Monitor global newsflow, policy shifts, and market sentiment to react instantly to catalysts.

What you will need to succeed

• Full Ownership: Freedom to design the desk strategy and build trading tools/processes from scratch.

• Proprietary Capital: Pure PnL generation using our capital—no client flow or execution-only constraints.

• High Growth: Direct exposure to scaling a high-conviction, specialized trading book.

• Track Record: 3+ years trading prediction markets, event-driven prop books, or political betting/macro sportsbooks with a proven history of independent PnL generation.

• Quantitative Mindset: Deep mastery of odds, probability pricing, and risk management in binary outcome markets.

• Autonomy & Agility: Comfortable making high-conviction decisions in dynamic, fast-paced news environments.

• Tech Skills (Bonus): Proficiency in Python/SQL for analysis, execution, or tool-building is highly advantageous.

• Global Flexibility: Ability to adapt working hours around major global geopolitical events and market calendars.
