Job summary

Nanyang Commercial Bank, Limited is seeking a Property and Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver bank-wide property and engineering projects in Hong Kong. You will oversee procurement, lead renovations and relocations, and ensure compliance with codes and internal policies across branches and offices.

You should have a solid track record in construction management, strong budgeting skills, and relevant professional credentials; banking sector experience is highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Eng, Building Surveying, PM, Facilities Mgmt or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in property and engineering project management.
• 2 years in a supervisory role; Assistant Property & Project Manager considered for less experienced candidates.
• Strong knowledge of construction engineering, materials, procurement, and contracts.
• Familiarity with building codes, fire safety, OHS and environmental laws.
• Banking/finance real estate or related sector experience preferred.
• Professional credentials (e.g., MHKIE, MRICS) advantageous.

Oversee and manage the procurement process for all engineering and facility projects;

Lead the design, renovation, major overhaul, relocation, and reinstatement of bank properties, branches, and offices;

Coordinate with government authorities, landlords, property managers, and contractors to guarantee compliance with legal codes and internal policies;

Inspect workmanship, conduct post-project evaluations, and enforce necessary rectification works;

Oversee project budget allocation and finalize all vendor account settlements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, Property Management, Facilities Management, or related discipline;
• At least 4 years of experience in property and engineering project management, including 2 years in a supervisory role. (Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Property and Project Manager);
• Solid understanding of construction engineering, building materials, procurement procedures, and contract management;
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, fire safety regulations, occupational health and safety (OHS) standards, environmental laws, and other statutory requirements;
• Experience in banking/finance corporate real estate, construction, property/facilities management, or architectural and engineering consultancies is highly preferred;
• Professional credentials (e.g., MHKIE, MHKIS, MCIOB, MRICS, MHKIH, or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
