Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Hong Kong to lead end-to-end project delivery across banking, insurance and technology initiatives. You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders, while partnering with business and tech teams to drive outcomes.

The role requires strong communication and multi-stakeholder coordination, with fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Consulting, or Technology environments.
• Proven track record of delivering business and/or technology projects from initiation through implementation.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Drive Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies depending on project requirements.
• Manage external vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues while proactively driving resolution plans.
• Support digital transformation, process improvement, system implementation, mobile application, and technology modernization initiatives.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications would be advantageous.
