We+ Asia is seeking a Project Manager to lead the MVP delivery of a Streaming & Membership Platform. You will own end-to-end delivery across a distributed team and coordinate directly with the client’s Entertainment Team to ensure a successful live premiere.

Your primary mission is to own end-to-end delivery of the MVP build across a distributed team, coordinate directly with the client's Entertainment Team, and ensure the platform is live in time for a fixed-date premiere event. The build spans a 7-8 week fixed-price engagement across membership, livestreaming, headless commerce, and admin tooling workstreams, delivered by a dedicated cross-functional team.
The platform integrates Firebase Auth, Stripe Billing, Mux (livestreaming), and Shopify (headless commerce), built on a Next.js / Node.js stack. The ideal candidate is expected to understand the technical dependencies well enough
to sequence work, flag risk, and keep vendors, developers, along with the client aligned.
1. Delivery & Sprint Management
Build Phase Ownership: Plan and track delivery across the defined build phases within the 7-8 week build window:
(1) Kickoff
(3) Streaming & Commerce integration
(5) Testing (stress/load test) and
Milestone Tracking: Own delivery against contractual milestones (core functionality demo, staging
delivery, go-live) that are directly tied to the client's payment schedule.
Sprint Planning: Run sprint planning and delivery tracking across the Lead Full-Stack Developer, Backend Developer, Frontend Developer, DevOps/Cloud Engineer, and UX/UI Designer.
2. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Primary Client Liaison: Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the client's Entertainment Team,
relaying questions, decisions, and status updates between both sides.
Content Dependency Management: Track and chase client-owned deliverables (brand assets, photography, editorial copy, product data, video content, translations) against the content calendar mitigating delay on the platform project.
Decision Log Ownership: Maintain a record of scope and requirement decisions confirmed with the client, and ensure they are reflected accurately in delivery.
Q&A Relay: Route technical questions between the client and the engineering team, and elevate blockers early.
Scope Governance: Enforce change-request discipline - any work beyond the agreed MVP scope is assessed, estimated, and approved in writing before execution.
4. Risk, Launch & Handover
Launch Coordination: Coordinate client communication during the first live event, working alongside the DevOps engineer who leads technical monitoring and incident response.
Risk Management: Proactively flag schedule, content, and scope risks, particularly around the fixed event date.
Managed Services Transition: Coordinate the handover from build to managed services, ensuring a minimum two-month overlap between build and run teams with no gap in coverage.
