Job summary

Hip Hing Construction Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee architectural works on site, ensuring quality, progress, and safety while coordinating with Developers, Architects and Consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a Building/Construction Engineering degree (or a Higher Diploma) with several years of relevant experience, is fluent in English and Chinese, and can manage statutory submissions and on-site issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building / Construction Engineering and Management with 5 years' relevant experience.
• Higher Diploma in Building Studies / Building Management with 7 years' relevant experience.
• Familiar with statutory/licence requirements (e.g., BFA, CoP Fire Safety in Buildings).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Attend meeting with Developer, Architect and Consultants.
• Monitor all quality and progress of Architectural Works.
• Resolve conflicts on site.
• Identify and resolve design problems with Consultants.
• Monitor statutory submission and inspection.
• Relationship management.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior engineers.
