Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking a Product Manager for KYC, Compliance, and Risk to build and improve customer verification, AML, and risk-control products. You will collaborate with Compliance, Risk Operations, Engineering, QA, Data, and external vendors to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product solutions.

This role demands experience with regulated financial products, complex workflows, and the ability to drive projects from requirements through production launch and iteration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Management experience in fintech or regulated industries.
• Hands-on with KYC/KYB/identity verification, AML or risk-control systems.
• Translate regulatory/compliance requirements into structured product flows and rules.
• Strong analytical mindset using funnel, accuracy, and operational data to diagnose problems.
• Able to drive projects independently with Compliance, Risk, Ops, Eng, QA and Data teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve KYC onboarding and verification flows, including data collection, document verification, OCR, liveness checks, automated decisions, manual review, and result handling.
• Design and optimize CDD/EDD, risk tiering, verification rules, retry flows, exception handling, and operational review processes.
• Analyze KYC funnel performance, approval rates, rejection reasons, review time, automation rates, and vendor performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate AML/CFT, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements and system rules.
• Support development of AML/sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, risk scoring, rule engines, case management, and audit trails.
• Design decision logic, exception handling, manual review workflows, and escalation mechanisms for different risk scenarios.
• Work with Data and Risk teams to improve risk rules, alerting, monitoring, and automated decision strategies.
• Integrate and manage external compliance and identity-verification vendors including KYC providers and screening services.
