The role requires 7+ years in Securities Services/Custody and strong expertise in project, product and change management, with fluency in Chinese and English. Partnerships across internal and external teams will drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Business, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience within Securities Services, Custody, Asset Servicing or Capital Markets including Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Management or Change Management responsibilities; consulting backgrounds considered.
• Proficiency in digital asset lifecycle events and familiarity with Digital Assets, Tokenized Securities, CBDCs or DLT-based market infrastructure.

Job description

The company is a leading brokerage institution with leading business in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage custody platform and securities services change initiatives across Direct Custody, Global Custody, Asset Servicing, Corporate Actions, Proxy Voting and Market Services
• Lead digital platform partnership projects and channel strategy to help business future growth and strategic objectives
• Work with stakeholders within the businesses and collaborate with internal and external counterparties/system vendors to ensure the systems and/ or digital platforms are in place to be in line with business directions.
• Responsible for project management and coordination on system requirements/enhancement, vendors selection, infrastructure, business continuity, and other administrative support requirements
• Work with business stakeholders to develop and maintain the suit of products for the Transaction Banking businesses
• Partner and collaborate with other functions and other teams to develop product capabilities
• Manage product development or change projects covering all aspects including product capabilities, pricing, documentation, risk management, operational processes, legal, finance/ accounting, etc.
• Managing the product shelf by maintaining and updating all product information such as standard documentation, pricing, SLAs, product approval details, etc.
• Review the current workflows and in concert with other internal users, to identify the best adoption of process automation and tech strategic roadmap

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Business, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience within Securities Services, Custody, Asset Servicing or Capital Markets, including Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Management or Change Management responsibilities; candidates from major consulting firms will also be considered
• Understanding of digital asset lifecycle events including issuance, custody, settlement, safekeeping, transfer, staking, tokenization and corporate actions.
• Experience supporting Digital Assets, Tokenized Securities, Digital Custody, Stablecoins, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) initiatives or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-based market infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge in product/ system development life cycle, UI/UX, business requirements papers
• Good understanding of relevant market infrastructure, e.g. FX processes, clearing systems, CRM, etc.
• Excellent communication skill in both Chinese and English
• PMP, Scrum Master, CBAP or similar project/change certifications are advantageous.
