Job summary

OAC Group Limited seeks a hands-on Private Equity Fund Accountant in Hong Kong to join the finance team. You will perform NAV calculations, prepare NAV reports, and manage waterfall distributions and capital calls. You will also prepare capital accounts and ILPA statements, and conduct monthly reconciliations.

Cantonese fluency is required, with strong written English. Mainland China applicants open to relocation to Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of Private Equity fund accounting or fund administration experience.
• Hands-on NAV calculation and waterfall calculation experience.
• Experience with capital calls and distributions.
• Cantonese speaking is a must; strong written English skills.

Private Equity Fund Accountant (Waterfall Calculation/Capital Distribution)

Our client is a premier Private Equity firm with a strong investment track record across Asia. They are seeking a hands-on Fund Accountant to join their finance team in Hong Kong. This roles offer a highly stable working environment and work-life balance working style.

Key Responsibilities

Performing NAV calculations and preparing NAV reports

Calculating and reviewing waterfall distributions

Managing the capital call and capital distribution process

Preparing capital accounts and ILPA statements

Conducting monthly bank and brokerage reconciliations

Supporting broader fund administration and ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements (Must-Have)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

1–3 years of solid experience in Private Equity fund accounting or fund administration

Hands-on experience with NAV calculation, waterfall calculation, and capital call / distribution processes

Cantonese speaking is a must, together with strong written English skills.

Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with PE fund accounting, especially waterfall calculation and capital distribution

Familiarity with fund accounting systems (e.g. Investran, Allvue, eFront, or similar)
