Our primary and middle school faculty is composed of grade-level teams which include a qualified or certified educator, a learning specialist with a special education degree or certificate, and an educational mentee who provides support to the class teacher in all areas of classroom management, small-group instruction and administrative support. This individual must have a strong vocation and interest in pedagogy or Child/Adolescent Development and are currently enrolled in, or in process of pursuing, a tertiary degree or certificate in Education. They are a valued member of the faculty and class community as they enhance the positive development and experience of students in the school. These education professionals, known within the community as “co‑teachers” gain instructional experience while they assist in all duties in the classroom and at the school throughout the school year.
