Job summary

JobTailor is seeking a pricing leader to expand the firm’s capability in complex legal pricing. You will act as a recognised expert, contribute to the global pricing team, and steer the development of advanced pricing capabilities across the firm’s legal products and services.

You will support fee proposal submissions, manage workload, and provide global support for complex matter proposals. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for partner-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Expand the firm’s pricing capability for complex legal matters
• Act as a recognized expert in complex matter pricing
• Contribute as a key member of the global pricing team
• Support fee proposal submissions
• Lead the development and embedding of advanced matter pricing capabilities
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the firm's full range of legal products and services
• Support the firm’s participation in strategic client panel processes
• Provide global support for the development of complex matter proposals
• Act as a point of escalation and an expert to advise team members
• Identify opportunities for standardisation
• Manage personal workload effectively
• Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Produce bespoke financial modelling for complex matter pricing
• Oversee and facilitate the smooth passage of fee proposals through internal approval processes

Requirements

• Exceptionally strong financial numeracy
• Qualified Accountant (desirable)
• Exposure to pricing in either a client, legal or consultancy capacity (desirable)
• Confident verbal and written communication skills in a style appropriate for partner consumption
• Excellent modelling and data manipulation skills
• Management experience

• Experience of SAP/Tableau (desirable)
