Job summary

Siemens in Hong Kong leads Smart Infrastructure – Electrification & Automation. We seek a developer to build the software layer behind our reporting and data analysis tools, turning raw equipment data into client insights and expanding into full client-facing applications as the business grows.

You will receive hands-on training in power systems and work with solutions specialists to deliver substation automation, industrial IT/OT convergence and cloud solutions for HK and Macau markets.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Engineering, IT, CS or equivalent disciplines.
• 2 years of hands-on software development with front-end or back-end web skills.
• Knowledge of Power industry, iIoT/PLC/Protection and Control would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis is a plus.
• Good communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop on-premises/cloud user applications to support HK and Macau markets.
• Assist Sales Manager in Smart power distribution and Smart Grid solutions and create automated reporting tools.
• Deliver pioneer solution projects including Energy Monitoring, Asset Condition and Performance management, Microgrid, Renewable integrations and BESS.
• Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot issues.
• Support software configuration, PLC programming, app development, patch deployment and OT/IT integration testing.
• Perform site testing, commissioning, and services support.
• Maintain project documentation and ISO-aligned quality records.
• Assist with tender preparation and respond to sales inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9000 and safety regulations within the division.
