Morgan Mckinley Limited seeks a senior BI/Analytics Engineer to design, develop and maintain enterprise dashboards using Power BI and Databricks AI/BI dashboards. You will build semantic models, complex DAX, and robust data pipelines, while ensuring governance and performance.

You will configure and optimize Databricks Genie Agents, document data lineage, and work with stakeholders to translate business needs into trusted analytics products in English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in BI, analytics engineering, data engineering, or enterprise reporting.
• Proficiency with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Databricks SQL and AI/BI dashboards.
• Experience managing Databricks Genie Agents/Spaces and testing
• Strong SQL skills and dimensional modelling knowledge.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, privacy, and production releases.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into trusted analytics products.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise dashboards using Power BI and Databricks AI/BI dashboards.
• Build scalable Power BI semantic models, advanced DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and interactive reporting experiences.
• Create, configure, test, and improve Databricks Genie Agents for business domains.
• Develop Genie Agent instructions, definitions, synonyms, sample SQL, and benchmarks.
• Review and troubleshoot NL-to-SQL outputs for accurate filters, joins, and calculations.
• Design governed dimensional models and reusable semantic layers for reporting and analytics.
• Document KPI definitions, data lineage, calculation logic, and data ownership.
• Apply security and governance with row filters and row-level security.
• Optimize queries, models, dashboards, and datasets for performance and reliability.
• Conduct data validation, UAT, and production-readiness reviews, and post-production support.
• Partner with business and technical teams to reduce manual reporting and improve analytics adoption.
• Contribute to group-wide standards for dashboards and Genie Agent deployment.
