Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a leading financial institution in Hong Kong to recruit a Post-Trade Business Analyst. The role focuses on bridging business strategies with technical execution, strengthening risk controls, automating compliance checks, and managing project lifecycles within investment product trading.

You will drive automation of pre- and post-trade controls, optimize post-trade surveillance workflows, translate business needs into technical specs with clear acceptance

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or risk management.
• End-to-end trade lifecycle knowledge (order routing to settlement).
• Familiarity with private banking operations and wealth management products.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional discussions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer automated pre- and post-trade control mechanisms to align activities with regulatory mandates and internal risk policies.
• Optimize post-trade monitoring and surveillance workflows for efficiency and oversight.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Define project scope, map workflows, establish milestones and delivery timelines.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed with status updates.
• Establish metrics to evaluate performance and business impact of delivered solutions.
