Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Pool Car Driver to support senior management with safe transport to meetings, airports, and branches across Hong Kong. The role requires maintaining a clean vehicle, managing schedules, and ensuring timely arrivals while upholding high service standards.

The ideal candidate will have a valid HK driving licence, bilingual English/Chinese communication skills, and prior chauffeur experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HK Vehicle classification code 1 & 2 driver's license with clean record.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven professional driving or chauffeur experience with focus on service quality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage schedules efficiently.
• Flexible working hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repair/troubleshooting.
• Completion of a certified advanced driving course is advantageous.
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives Manager to meetings, branches/offices and events as assigned.
• Safely operates a limousine to ensure comfort for Manager and passengers.
• Schedule management to pick up/drop off Manager; reconfirm flights on the day of travel.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle and monitor fuel and fluids.
• Report mechanical issues or accidents to Transport Team and arrange repairs.
• Adhere to traffic laws to ensure passenger safety.
• Relief duties for other drivers and license renewals as assigned.
• Keep daily records of activities and expenses for reimbursement.

Job description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Pool Car Driver.

In this role you will:

• Drives Manager to business meeting, visit branches/offices and functions. Performs daily activities as assigned by the Manager.
• Safely and responsibly operate a limousine, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of Manager and users throughout the journey.
• Ensure proper scheduling and time management to promptly pick up and drop off Manager. Reconfirm flight schedule independently on the day of order.
• Always maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle. Monitor and maintain the limousine's fuel/battery and other fluid levels, as well as perform routine inspections to ensure it is in good working condition
• Report any mechanical issues, damages or accidents to the Transport Team, HK COO Office and follow up with necessary repairs or actions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
• Performs relief duties for other drivers and license renewal as assigned by Transport Team, HK COO Office
• Maintain daily record of all activities and expenses such as parking and meter fee for reimbursement and month end mileage reconciliation in logbook.

To be successful you will need:

• Valid driver's license of HK Vehicle classification code 1 & 2 with a clean driving record and excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Good Command of English and Chinese. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with Manager in a friendly and professional manner
• Proven experience as a professional driver or chauffeur, with a strong focus on customer service
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to handle minor repairs or troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in unexpected situations
• Completion of a certified advanced driving is advantageous. Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures is a plus.
